Woolwich-based financial printer Burrups, part of St Ives, has gone 100% CTP after installing its eight-up Agfa Galileo S CTP system earlier this year.
Burrups has also moved most of its printing to a larger site in Woolwich, leaving its operation at St Ives Lavington Street headquarters focused on customer service.
The CTP system has provided Burrups with a 20% water reduction, enabling quicker drying. "We believe thats a unique advantage in a time-sensitive business like ours," said Burrups production associate director Hayden Savage.
* Agfa has teamed up with Apple for a series of one-day European roadshows entitled "Going digital in professional photography". The UK show will be in London on 20 March.
