The group will provide mechanical and electrical support for users of its SP and SPO die-cutters, and electrical support for users of folder-gluers.
It will assign a field service technician on a first-come, first-served basis after customers have called a special emergency number.
Bobst hopes the new service will complement its 24-hour spare parts offering.
It isn't designed to provide the comprehensive support that we offer inside working hours, but we think it will be a big help to those customers with seven-day working, said Neil Jones, Bobsts service manager for the UK and Ireland.
