Earlier this month, one printer told PrintWeek how it had been hit with a series of payment demands for a poor-quality, photocopied report, even though it had never submitted a purchase order (PrintWeek, 9 August).
Another printer, based on the south coast, this week told PrintWeek it had been in dispute with Berger since last October over the same report, Reinventing Quality Management.
The printer eventually went to the OFT, to avoid time-consuming and costly legal action, according to its financial director, who described the situation as infuriating.
