"We're the only people in Northern Ireland doing this line of work," said manager Mark Snodden. "We thought the market was there for us, and we were proved right."
The 1,300sqm factory in Newtownabbey has been lavished with 1m of kit, including a Heidelberg Stahlfolder TD 66, a Muller Martini stitcher and a Tigra binder.
The 25-staff firm plans to install two stacklifts and a jogger to its Polar 115E guillotine, said joint managing director Alan McMorris. The Stahlfolder TD 66 breaks work bottlenecks and runs with a Stahlfolder TD 78.
"We get the production and speed we need and modules such as the knife unit can be switched between folders."
