Beacon Graphics has printed the 1m leaflets used for Volvos door-drop mailing, organised by JJ Marketing.
The High Wycombe-based firm printed the A3 literature in four colours on a 12-colour Speedmaster 102 with gloss varnish.
The printing and finishing took the firm five working days to complete.
JJ Marketing teamed up with information firm Experian to organise the campaign, which was used to publicise the new Volvo S60 and recent price changes to the Volvo range.
Consumers were targeted geographically and the mailings were only sent to the top two postcodes in each territory, classified according to customers propensity to buy a Volvo car.
Volvos 174 dealerships were also sent a full-colour portfolio giving them a breakdown of their respective markets. The portfolios, which included personalised tables and an A1 map, were printed by Nottingham-based Prime Litho Printing Services on a Xeikon.
"We wanted to get away from the large market research that is usually sent out," said JJ marketing manager Emma Griffiths.
