BBH brings repro in-house with ex-Fusion team

Three former Fusion staff have set up Mission Possible, a repro inplant for ad agency BBH.

Alan Tout, formerly of Lifeboat Matey, heads up the new venture, which has invested £250,000 in retouching, proofing and workflow.

Joining Tout are retoucher Gary Mead and production manager Jamie Adam.
"I've been looking at the market and how we can be more efficient and offer a better service to clients," said BBH operations director Joe Da Silva. "This will reduce duplication and take steps out of the process."

He added that clients would reap the benefits, as their fees would go directly on creative services rather than administration.

BBH currently outsources repro to several suppliers including Vertis- owned Lifeboat Matey and Production Response, Tapestry MM and Keene. Even when Mission Possible is live it will still outsource some creative retouching and some production, although it has yet to finalise suppliers.
"It will hit our suppliers, it's not a decision we've taken lightly," said Da Silva. "We're one of the last agencies of our size to do this."
