The Bath Press has secured a three-year 2m contract to print the Good News Bible, which is published jointly by the Bible Society and HarperCollins.
The deal, one of the UKs top religious publishing printing contracts, was previously held by Glasgows Omnia Books.
The contract is effective immediately for the CPI-member company, and extends its relationship with the Bible Society, for which it already prints and binds all formats of the contemporary English version of the Bible.
The Bath Press, which has almost doubled its Bible print production over the past three years, will produce two formats of the Good News Bible, both to be printed web offset litho on 35gsm lightweight paper and unsewn bound in cased and paperback formats.
