The Anapurna XL2 is a 250cm-wide printer capable of printing indoor and outdoor signs and displays. The six-colour system has a resolution of 727x800dpi.
Agfa worldwide sales director Hans Gerinckx said: “We’re rapidly expanding our place in the market, because we have the technology that is ideal for the sector.”
The firm has also launched a 160cm-wide version. The Anapurna M incorporates 14 picolitre printheads and operates at up to 15sqm per hour.
Agfa wide-format marketing director Willy Van Dromme said: “The high- quality printheads and very small drop size produce great image detail.”
