The management of the company placed it into voluntary liquidation with Leeds-based insolvency practitioner BKR Haines Watts.
An employee said the firm closed its doors on 19 July and that its staff were owed wages.
In the year to 30 April 2001 Larkfield Colour Group recorded sales of 2.88m with a pre-tax profit of 1,486. However, in the last year the company has had 14 County Court Judgements issued against it for an aggregate value of 30,927.
BKR Haines Watts will now sell the company?s assets to pay creditors. As PrintWeek went to press the amount owed to unsecured creditors was unknown.
