4imprint Group has bought US-based Adventures in Advertising (AIA) in a 8.5m ($12.5m) deal.
AIA has 400 franchises in North America which market and sell promotional products. It recorded franchisee billings of 67m last year.
Finance director Richard Harrison said 4imprint would "continue to look at acquisitions if the fit and price was right".
4imprint emerged from the former Bemrose Corporation.
