The deal, which is worth around £250,000 across its duration, will require the Leicester-based company to produce ring-bound training manuals as well as other marketing collateral.
The 10-staff company was supplied the Xerox machine, which was up and running in August, through Danwood.
Tony Manley, managing director at Ward Imaging & Design, said the company assessed the digital equipment market and looked at the Xerox 700 before settling on the 560 configuration.
"We have offered digital print in the past but with the addition of the Xerox 560, it gives us a strong platform to build upon, both in terms of quality and output," he said.
The Xerox colour 560 printer can output in both colour and mono can print at 60ppm and 65ppm respectively.
The 560 uses the manufacturer's low-melt emulsion aggregate (EA) toner and can print at resolutions of up to 2,400dpi.
Ward specified the machine with additional automated features including an oversized high capacity feeder, creasing, folding, stitching and hole punching units.
