Vegra unveils new cleaning and filtration products

International consumables supplier Vegra (Hall 12, B35) will be presenting new cleaning and filtration products that contribute to sustainable print production at Drupa.

This includes the new Easy-Cleaner Type E filtration system from Easylac which, thanks to a new filter housing, now delivers a higher filtration capacity.

Vegra is also launching a redesigned version of the Easy-Cleaner C202-V09 Ultrasonic cleaning container for ultrasound cleaning printing press components. Automatic cleaning options for turbo and spray units can now be integrated.

The corresponding detergent should be emissions-free even at temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Celsius. After use, it is filtered through a ceramic unit integrated into the washing container and fed back into the cleaning process. The ceramic filters self-clean entirely automatically, and the manufacturer claims a washing water recovery of between 85% and 98%.

According to Vegra, the new fountains for newspaper printing as well as alcohol-free and low-alcohol commercial offset, are corrosion-inhibited, VOC-free in line with the draft EU Directive and with no labelling requirement under the Chemicals Law and the Hazardous Goods Ordinance.

Vegra recommends the rapid cleaner, that is free of aromatic compounds and can be mixed with water, as a universal detergent for rubber blanket washing systems and for hand washing rubber blankets, ink rollers and boxes. They do not cause any elastomer swelling and are recyclable.
