Shuttleworth to showcase latest MIS developments at Packaging Innovations 2015

MIS developer Shuttleworth will show off the latest advances in its integrated MIS package at Packaging Innovations 2015, which will take place at Birmingham’s NEC on 25 and 26 February.

The firm will use its stand to demonstrate its Production Planning system, which is designed to maximise businesses' opportunities with customers and prospects. The system gives ‘real-time’ feedback directly from the shop floor, which gives crucial information and control for the modern packaging environment.

The company’s Product Management functionality, which is designed to help the workflow process, will also be on display. Multiple products or items can be added to a single enquiry and the system produces a single quote.

This can be used to manage different types of work and ensure that several orders can be easily managed and tracked as a single enquiry if required.

A number of other enhancements will be on show on the firm’s stand. The new job tracking functionality, Milestones, will make it quick and easy to view the status of any job as it progresses throughout the business while the company’s new mobile stock app will allow users to update stock transactions using a mobile device with barcode scanning if required.

The latest Production Scheduling module includes a new option for automating the whole production planning process, while a fully integrated CRM package includes a mobile app that will enable anybody working remotely to access and update vital information.

Shuttleworth marketing executive Dawn Safford said: “We are aiming to use this occasion to inspire the packaging industry by providing new MIS developments and solutions that can be used to help customers.

“We will show how delivering powerful technical solutions improves efficiencies and reduces administration and costs, thereby increasing profit.”

Shuttleworth, which was established in 1981, is based in the UK and has customers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
