Ryobi launches five-colour Ryobi 525GE

Ryobi has launched an entry-level five-colour B3 press, the latest in the new GE series announced at Drupa last year.

The press, which is being offered by Ryobi UK distributor Apex Digital Graphics, is smaller and less expensive than the manufacturer's GX series five-colour.

Joining existing launches in the range of a two-colour and four-colour press, the Ryobi 525GE will come with a list price of around £289,000.

Neil Handforth, sales and marketing director at Apex, said: "The GE variant offers considerable automation, but will take some 38% less space than a five-colour GX machine, making it ideal for companies where shopfloor space is at a premium."

The press comes with a semi-automatic plate changing system, as well as automated cleaning for ink rollers and blankets and ink volume setter software. It is also supplied with Ryobi's PCS-JX printing control system fitted as standard.
