The deadline for entries is 30 June.

Jim James, publisher, PrintWeek India and director, Haymarket Media India said, We have been running the PrintWeek Awards in the UK and in Germany for a number of years. Now that PrintWeek, which was launched last year in India, is established, it was a natural progression to take the opportunity to celebrate and reward the print industry and excellence in the print industry in India.

Explaining the reason behind launching the awards in India, Ramu Ramanathan, editor, PrintWeek India said, The print industry is growing. Segments such packaging, book printing, labels and outdoor are strong. There is highly creative work for the domestic market as well print jobs which are being exported.

"This is the best time to launch the awards. We will have a neutral jury of technical specialists, print buyers and our UK editorial team. In India, awards get ghettoised into sectors and regions. PrintWeek Awards will be all encompassing.

PrintWeek India is published by Haymarket Media (India), publishers of Campaign India, Autocar, What Hi Fi, Stuff.
