Printed.com makes dual appointments to develop partnerships and online presence

Printed.com, the online presence for ordering print, has appointed two new members of staff to help drive the company's digital development and strategic partnerships.

The site, part of Tangent, was relaunched last October and is considered an "evolution" of the firm's Digital Print Partnership, an offerng that started life as a wholesale trade operation before being developed into a site increasingly used by designers and SMEs.

According to the company, it counts more than 10,000 print, design and SME businesses as clients and the new appointments will enable Printed.com to expand and build its presence further.

Alex Harrington-Griffin joins the company as strategic partnerships manager. With experience in the sales and marketing sectors, Harrington-Griffin is charged with developing printed.com's ties with SMEs and "key like-minded businesses".

The company's other new appointment is Bilal Mallick, who takes on a position within printed.com's digital development operation. Mallick, who offers experience within content management systems and third party APIs, will develop the website to improve its ease-of-use for visitors.

Nicholas Green, founder of Printed.com and executive director of Tangent, said: "Partnerships and site development are key areas for the business, and we predict that our new additions to the team will massively contribute to further growth."
