Polestar Colchester becomes ISO 14001 certified

Polestar Colchester has become ISO 14001 certified and is the final web offset company within the group to achieve the standard.

Steve Mears, managing director of Polestar Colchester, said: "We are delighted with our achievement, which comes after a great deal of hard work over the past 12 months.

"With ISO 14001, it demonstrates our commitment across the business to operating in an environmentally responsible manner."

Polestar's other web offset plants, Polestar Petty, Polestar Chantry and Polestar Chromoworks, achieved ISO 14001 status in June 2008, February 2009 and March 2009 respectively.

Polestar Sheffield and Polestar Wheatons also have the accreditation.
