Paper grade launched from fallow land products

Independent paper manufacturer Papeterie Zuber Rieder has launched an eco-friendly and fully recyclable paper grade that is produced using sugar cane, linen and hemp.

The Bagasse grade uses products that are grown on fallow land and does not use trees in its manufacture, which the company said renders it a low energy consumption product.

The range, which includes Meringue, Meringue Crystal and 1 and 2 Face in weights from 90gsm-320gsm, is fully recyclable and can be used for luxury packaging, plus greetings and business cards.

It can be used in offset printing, letterpress, engraving and blind embossing.

The French company's UK paper agent is Yorkshire-based Papico.
