On Demand Machinery to exhibit ODM Case Binding Systems

On-demand bookbinding manufacturer On Demand Machinery (ODM) is to exhibit its ODM Case Binding System at Print 09.

Chicago-based ODM manufactures a complete line of bookbinding equipment that it said produces "library-quality" hardcover books on-demand.

The finished product features front cover window options, padded or non-padded covers, quality turned edges, back-tack technology and customised flexibility.

President John Jacobson said: "We will be exhibiting our new line of XXL machines, which can make a book up to 18x18in, when our previous machines were limited to 11x14in.Needless to say, this opens up some new markets in photobooks for us."

He added that the company would also be showing its new automated casing-in and building-in machines.

Jacobson said: "This new equipment will also open up new markets for us, particularly with customers that already have multiple installations of our manual lines."

He added that the ODM bookbinding system was able to fit production requirements that include Super Sewee, Casemaker XXL, Sticker XXL and Smasher XXL.

ODM manufactures a complete line of on-demand hard cover binding machinery and has been exhibiting at the Print show since 1997.

The company exports across Europe, Canada and South America.

Print 09 is due to take place on 11-16 September, in Chicago, US.
