Océ collaborative open house offers Drupa catch-up

Océ is offering UK printers that didn't go to Drupa the chance to see some of its and its partners' latest innovations at an open house later this month.

The Precision Printing for Professionals event is being hosted by Duplo at its new headquarters in Addlestone, Surrey on 25 and 26 September. It will feature kit from Océ as well as its parent Canon and a host of other partners, including Duplo, to offer creation to delivery demonstrations, from cross-media and web-to-print all the way through to finished products.

The event is targeted at commercial printers and inplant professionals and the engines on show will include the Canon imagePress C7010VPS, the high-volume Océ VarioPrint 6000 Ultra and the mid-range VarioPrint DP monochrome lines as well as Océ wide-format kit.

Other partners participating in the event include EFI, Time Harvest, Objectif Lune, Documobi, and Vpress.

"It will be an informal event, where people can talk to us about their business needs, and we’ll be running applications we ran at Drupa to demonstrate some of the possibilities of print and beyond," said Nick Chalk, Océ business development manager for production printing.

Canon will also be using the event to present the findings of its Insight Report, which analyses some of the key print buying trends as highlighted by independent research based on interviews with more than 400 buyers from across Europe.
