Morgana to show at North Print & Pack

UK digital finishing firm Morgana Systems has expanded its presence at next month's North Print & Pack by confirming that it will take its own stand at the Harrogate event.

While the Milton Keynes-based manufacturer already had a presence at the show with its equipment due to support digital printers on the Konica Minolta and Ricoh stands, the company has opted to take its own floor space as it looks to integrate more with the packaging industry.

Managing director Quen Baum said: "All finishing suppliers need to appreciate the needs of the packaging community. It offers one of the few growth areas in print production at this moment in time, and is itself gradually appreciating the benefits of digital production.

"We are looking forward to having the opportunity to meet with and talk to visitors from the packaging world in order to get a better understanding of their finishing requirements. It is certainly an area where Morgana would be keen to move into if there is potential for our short-run finishing focus."

On display for the first time will be the manufacturer’s new Morgana System 2000 booklet making line including the ACF 510 feeder, which can produce booklets from pre-collated digital output as well as litho output for collating. It also includes the CST2000 side-trimming and creasing module which eliminates the need for pre-production guillotine cutting.

Further specification and pricing details will be released ahead of the exhibition, which takes place in Harrogate from 14 to 16 May; Morgana Systems will occupy stand M424.

North Print & Pack 2013 sales manager Mary Buck said: "With the event focus on the commercial print and packaging sectors – the widest industry reach ever – it perfectly aligns with Morgana’s range of high-quality finishing solutions.

"As the UK’s biggest commercial print and packaging event in 2013, North Print & Pack is the ideal platform to launch new product and to showcase leading post-press solutions to the industry."
