The press manufacturer has installed an Avalon N8-22 B1 platesetter, which images Azura TS chemistry-free plates, all driven by Apogee production software.
M Partners, the UK agency for sales and service of Mitsubishi presses, uses the 4,645m2 European showroom for presentations and demonstrations.
A spokesperson, said: "I can confirm to you that a new flagship V3000 B1 machine is currently in build in Japan and is due to arrive in Leeds before the end of the year, and will therefore be the focal point for demonstrations from early in 2011."
Murray Lock, director of M Partners, said the Azura TS was the only plate that could meet its needs as well as requiring no adjustments to the press.
"We are planning for the long-term sales development of Mitsubishi presses at a stage when many of our competitors are reducing their showroom facilities," he said.
Barbara Cooper, system specialist at Agfa Graphics, said Mitsubishi's decision to opt for the CtP system was another endorsement of the company’s Azura plates.
"This also provides Agfa with a demonstration facility in the north of England from which we can show customers the entire prepress process from start to finish," she added.
