Marlowe Digital expands StudioRIP network and seals CTP deal at Ipex

Marlowe Digital (S4-F300) has used Ipex to expand the worldwide dealer network for StudioRIP - the low-cost RIP for which it holds the worldwide distribution rights.

Marlowe has signed up new distribution partners in Australia, Cyprus, Egypt, Finland, France, Hungary, Israel, Lebanon, Malawi, Mexico, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Marlowe has also sold a refurbished Screen PT-R8000 mk2 CTP to Kettering-based commercial printer Portland Printers, in partnership with Fujifilm, which supplied the plates as well as the finance.

Portland sales manager Martin Allibone said: “We have been so impressed with the way in which Marlowe kept our initial Screen machine running at tip-top performance levels, we wanted more of the same. Another reason for the purchase was to buy a machine with which we are familiar without having the pressure to change plate supplier.”
