Sponsored by National Skills Academy Materials, Production & Supply

Proskills & its National Skills Academy for Materials, Production and Supply, together with print industry employers, develop skills standards that are used to create skills qualifications.

The aim is to create, within the printing industry, a sustainable,  continual improvement process for skills which will allow printing industry employers to benchmark their employees using NVQ qualifications  and  to enable assessors and employees to measure improvements in skills over time.

This will also allow employers to  calculate organizational and productivity gains, together with  the return on investment,  in skills versus other potential investments available to them.

Proskills and its National Skills Academy will create innovative products, services and accredited training provision to make these gains easier to quantify.
