Flexpress Trade gearing up for PrintWeekLive! debut

Flexpress Trade will promote its wares to potential clients when it makes its PrintWeekLive! debut next month.

Part of Leicester-based commercial printer Flexpress, which has 23 staff and turns over £2m, the company’s trade printing arm will show visitors to its stand a range of samples of work it has produced.

Managing director Steve Wenlock describes the business as “the trade printer for discerning print buyers who still believe first-class quality and good old-fashioned service has a value.”

“There are a number of very good trade printers but their one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t suit everyone. Our resellers enjoy unrestricted options on a wide range of products and we’re a great source for harder-to-source, bespoke jobs at competitive prices,” said Wenlock.

“Anyone who wants to work with an incredibly versatile company that feels like an extension to their own business and will adapt to their specific needs should come and see what we can offer.”

Wenlock said his firm has decided to exhibit at PrintWeekLive! following success at another trade show it exhibited at last year – its first.

“We’ve decided to make exhibiting a regular part of our marketing mix. Our target market is print resellers and PrintWeekLive! is a great opportunity to meet and chat with potential clients face-to-face.

“We’ll be discussing how some of the special-effect and differentiated printing we offer can help print resellers win quality clients plus how our versatile approach can remove some of their major headaches.”

He added: “Of course we’ll have plenty of samples of some of the more interesting types of products and processes we offer but, as we like to think we know how our clients’ minds work, we’ll be having a mind-reading magician on the stand to prove the point.”

Last year Flexpress became the first UK company to install the Duplo DuSense DDC-810 ‘Sensory Coater’. The firm also purchased two Ryobi LED-UV machines in a £1m spend in 2016.

PrintWeekLive! takes place on 7/8 March 2018 in the Ericsson exhibition hall at the Wasps Arena, Coventry.
