Fespa launches Wrap Rally road trip to Barcelona

Fespa is to send a group of employees on a "print adventure" trip from London to Barcelona to find examples of innovative digital print technologies and applications.

Richard Kensett, Rob Older and Chris Rimer will be setting off on the seven-day, 2,400km trip - Fespa’s second Wrap Rally event - on 12 February, along with a film crew, and will visit 11 cities and four countries.

The Fespa team will travel in a wrapped motorhome, with the vehicle’s design chosen by public vote. They will visit Belgium, France and Switzerland on their way to Spain and are scheduled to complete the trip on the 21 February when the vehicle will arrive at the doors of Fira de Barcelona Gran Via exhibition centre, the venue for FESPA Digital 2012.

Fespa said that the trio will keep the digital community updated throughout their journey with examples of the "wider opportunities of print" along the way through real-time content including: webinars, videos, interviews, photographs, blogs and across FESPA’s social media platforms.
