The inaugural Digital Print UK will take place next year at the Birmingham NEC on 18-20 September.
Faversham House said the event would act as a national showcase for the wide range of digital printing equipment and services available to the commercial printing market.
It will also promote the benefits of digital print to a wide audience that includes print buyers, marketeers, designers and brand owners.
Rudi Blackett, event director at Faversham House Group, said the show would follow a similar formula to Sign & Digital UK, which made it the "essential meeting place" for the sign-making and wide-format industry.
In addition to showcasing the latest digital print technology, the show will aim to provide business advice and application-based demonstrations to visitors.
Blackett said: "As organisers of S&D, we have become increasingly aware that there is an opportunity to replicate that exhibition in the commercial print sector and deliver an annual show that serves the UK market with a focused and fresh approach.
"We are looking forward to bringing our passion and creativity for organising exhibitions to this vibrant sector."
Sign & Digital UK 2011 attracted 6,756 unique visitors, which was a marked 22% increase on the 2010 show.
