The response, which was the best to date for the product at any EFI trade show, was a welcome fillip for the US-based company, which has suffered as a result of the economic downturn in its home market.
Marc Olin, senior vice president and general manager of EFI's Advanced Professional Print Software (APPS) division, said the integration DSF offered to EFI's Fiery and MIS products was key to its success.
He added: "DSF is already an award-winning solution in use at more than 2,500 locations worldwide and these past two weeks, it generated an enormous amount of traffic to the EFI Drupa stand.
"We're thrilled to have sold a record number of the systems on the show floor, further strengthening our lead in the marketplace."
