Apogee Corporation in boat race for Help a Capital Child charity

Digital print services provider Apogee Corporation has completed a double charity challenge to raise money for Capital FM's Help A Capital Child.

Team Apogee consisted of seven staff members, Jason Collins, Barry Ferdinand Campbell Trainer, Femi Adigun, John Painter, Glen Charles and David Boost, who took part in the 21-mile Great River Race from London’s Docklands to Richmond in their Thames Cutter boat.

They competed against 300 other teams in Celtic longboats and dragon boats from around the world and crossed the finish line in a time of two hours and 29 minutes.

At the time of writing, the team were midway through a 300-mile London to Paris Bike Ride in the second
part of their feat to raise £40,000 to help children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, disability and illness.
