Tradeprint has joined forces with online design platform Canva to roll out what Canva claims is a “first of its kind design-to-print solution for UK businesses”.

The Dundee-based printer's customers will now be able to access millions of assets, from stock photography to fonts and icons, to help them to create professional designs. Tradeprint will then handle the print and delivery of jobs completed through the system.

The new Canva section of Tradeprint's site highlights the products that can be designed and ordered through the platform; flyers, business cards, letterheads, stickers, menus, postcards, invitations and posters.

The service boasts “hard-to-beat pricing with trade buyers in mind”, offers white label packaging and has print experts on hand to help customers from 8am to 6pm every weekday.

Tradeprint managing director Charlene Douglas said the collaboration is additional to the company's range of services and provides more value to its existing customers.

“Over the past 20 years we have been striving to continuously support the businesses across the UK by offering a vast range of products with exceptionally high quality print at affordable prices.

“Our partnership with Canva is a significant milestone in the evolution of our business and service offering.

“To deliver a market-leading self service solution to UK businesses, at such an ambiguous time for so many, is a real privilege and we’re excited to see what we can achieve together.”

Founded and headquartered in Sydney, Australia in 2012, Canva has 30 million monthly active users across 190 countries. The company's global partnerships lead Aaron Day described the deal with Tradeprint as “a vital step in Canva’s mission to empower everyone to design”.

“In recent months we have entered a new normal across the globe, businesses have recognised the need for more collaborative and user friendly business support solutions.

“Together with Tradeprint we are simplifying the design-to-print process and giving businesses across the UK more choice and greater flexibility in how they create and communicate with their customers.”
