Feldmuehle will increase prices for all of its wet strength label papers by a minimum of 10% from October.

The Independent German paper mill had already put prices for the same papers up by 8% in April.

In a statement released today (31 August), the company said: “The continuous and significant increases in raw materials, energy, and logistics costs make another significant price increase for all label paper qualities inevitable.”

The increase is effective on all new orders with deliveries from 1st October 2021.

This time last year Feldmuehle strengthened its management team after trading above plan since it exited its insolvency proceedings at the beginning of 2020.

Based just west of Hamburg, the company currently develops and manufactures high-quality white coated label papers and packaging papers for the German and international markets.
