Delta Group has appointed a new managing director for its creative wing, as well as a new group director to oversee innovation.

Katie Baker was appointed to head up Delta Creative from its central London-based office. She was previously head of strategic retail innovation at Samsung UK and began working at Delta on 3 February.

She is joined by global marketing expert Kevin Pritchard, who started as Delta Group’s new group transformation/innovation director on 10 February.

Delta Group chief executive Jason Hammond said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Katie and Kevin and are confident they will help drive future success across existing and future clients.

“The experience they both bring is unparalleled and will ensure our accelerated growth projections, commitment to excellence in client services and innovation continues. With some great new business opportunities in the pipeline we’re looking forward to a really exciting new decade.”

Both appointments were made as part of Delta’s continuing strategy for group-wide growth across creative, print and technology services.

Following an extensive rebrand and restructure in May, Delta Group has enjoyed a run of successes, including the retention of a PoS contract for Lidl GB.

The group employs around 800 staff on a turnover of £92.6m.
