Integrated communications provider Adare SEC has continued its multi-million pound investment drive with the addition of a Ricoh Pro VC70000 high speed inkjet printer at its Huddersfield facility.

Installed in December, the company said the VC70000 offers a boost in speed and quality as well as shorter turnaround times. Direct mail work for clients will be enhanced by the machine’s extended colour gamut, while consistent high quality output at volume can be produced on a broad range of substrates.

Additionally, the company said the high-integrity in-line scanning functionality delivers robust compliance for its highly regulated clients.

The new machine follows the company’s £3m investment last year in new kit and systems across its operations in Huddersfield and Nottingham, including three Epic inserting lines from Bluecrest and six Neopost folder-inserters.

Adare SEC chief executive Rachael Nevins said: “Over the past six months, and despite the challenges presented by Covid-19, we have continued to invest because our vision for the business remains the same – to be the trusted expert of choice for contemporary integrated communications.

“We are piecing together a formidable portfolio of technology and hardware, all of which will allow us to continually enhance our capabilities, processes and expertise for the benefit of our clients.”

Adare SEC has also recently joined Quadient’s ‘Digital Now’ programme, as it looks to accelerate its clients’ digital transformation journeys.

The £71.4m turnover business employs around 400 staff across its secure facilities in Huddersfield, Redditch and Nottingham, producing around 750 million critical customer communications per annum.

Adare SEC was spun off as part of a two-way split of the former Adare Group in 2017, with print management wing Adare International operating as a separate entity.

Both Adare SEC and Adare International are owned by private equity house Endless.
