Teckwin targets European growth

Teckwin has used Fespa as a springboard for a bigger push into the European market.

The Chinese manufacturer has hundreds of large-format printers installed in its home market, and claims its systems offer a USP in terms of price/performance.

“The ROI on our machines is very high,” said CEO Stella Hu.

Teckwin’s 5m-wide UV LED high-speed roll-to-roll printer is on show at distributor Magenta Vision’s stand (3.1-C29). It costs around €199,000 (£174,000) and can print at up to 280sqm/hour.

At Teckwin’s own booth (6.2-E40), the firm is highlighting its versatile JetBox 2530 for corrugated applications. It has a maximum print width of 2.5m and can print onto multiple corrugated boards or rolls, with productivity including loading and unloading of up to 190 full size sheets per hour.

It costs €260,000 for “a complete solution”.

Teckwin’s range also includes the Peacock direct-to-textile printer.
