HP gives Stanford Marsh PageWide Partner Award

HP has named wide-format and 3D printing hardware supplier Stanford Marsh a top performer in PageWide XL sales and customer service.

The manufacturer gave the Worcester-headquartered company company a PageWide Partner award naming it Best Partner from Day One for HP PageWide XL Technology.

The award was presented to Stanford Marsh’s sales director, Danny Davies and recognises that the company’s sales and marketing staff undertook extensive training in the run-up to the launch of the PageWide XL line in April 2015

The training schedule, which took in staff from Stanford Marsh sites in Bristol, Derby, South Wales and Scotland, was nine months in completion and put the company in good stead when offering service level agreements with customers of the new technology.

Stanford Marsh director Matthew Perkins said: “Our teams have spent many hours learning about the HP PageWide platform. This intensive pre-launch training seems to have been well worth the investment though as our very first customer took delivery of four HP PageWide XL 8000 printers with custom-built folders to allow large output to be folded into a manageably sized documents.”

100-staff Stanford Marsh, which celebrates 50 years in business this year, also sells HP Designjet and Latex printers alongside consumables.

HP itself won a design award for its PageWide XL portfolio in the 2016 iF Awards in February.

The PageWide XLs won a Gold ‘Best of Best’ Design Award for industrial design.
