Avery Dennison has introduced three white, uncoated wood-free papers made from 100% recycled fibres.

Commercially available with immediate effect, the new papers, which are said to be especially suited to wine, spirits, craft beer, premium food and beverage, and cosmetics, are additional to the company’s portfolio of post-consumer recycled materials.

rNaturel Touch Craft is a thick paper with a cotton-like texture for a craft, traditional look, rNoble Blanc is a matt paper with a felt marked finish that is suitable for high volume printing, and rSable Blanc is a smooth, matt paper that is also targeted at high volume printing.

“Industry regulations, company environmental policies, and consumer demands all contribute to the rising need of sustainable label and packaging solutions,” said Avery Dennison in a statement.

The three new papers are said to offer a similar look, feel, and performance as conventional alternatives and all three feature wet strength treatment.
