The West-Midlands based firm has also invested in a greater depth of stockholding across the range to meet increased customer demand.

With immediate effect Calisto Hi Bulk is now stocked in a range of grammages from 80gsm through to 350gsm and in a wide range of sizes. Bespoke sizes are also available ex-mill.

According to the firm, the range offers strong press performance and large cost savings compared with standard products due to its high opacity, bulk and stiffness.

Commercial director Ian Pentland said: “With current price increases in the woodfree coated sector it is even more essential to be able to find savings on products without compromising on quality.

“Calisto Hi Bulk has a unique set of grammages as well as the standard grammages that you would expect. Special weights include 110, 120, 125 and 145gsm.”

Calisto Hi Bulk is made entirely from ECF (elemental chlorine-free) pulp and carries PEFC accreditation.

The gloss range is suitable for applications including catalogues, brochures, annual reports, posters and calendars, while the silk range can be used for catalogues, premium books and magazines and promotional materials.

As part of the Middleton Paper Group, which recently announced a multimillion-pound investment plan including new equipment, increased stockholding and a new fleet of vehicles, Vision Paper and Board supplies the UK market with more than 70,000 tonnes of paper per year. 

Last month the firm began stocking high-quality packaging grade Tamfold.

The business supplies products to a varied customer base including commercial print, publishing, print management and the graphical and packaging board sectors. It also supplies business papers to stationers, wholesalers and education authorities.
