Triple promotion at Potts Print

Potts Print (UK) has enhanced its senior management team with the promotion of three staff into new roles over the past few weeks.

Cramlington, Northumberland-based Potts has promoted Beck Owen from head of corporate services to deputy director within the firm’s corporate services division.

Owen joined the company five years ago and has advanced from positions in sales to corporate services, where she now plays a key role in the firm’s quality and certification activities, including ISO, BRCGS Packaging Materials and health and safety accreditations.

Additionally, Sandy Vassallo, who has been with Potts for more than five years, has been promoted to head of logistics. During her time with the business Vassallo has utilised her experience and skills in logistics management.

Potts said her role is paramount in coordinating and managing logistics operations, to ensure both the efficient receiving and dispatching of goods, while constantly seeking to improve performance and productivity.

Finally, Melissa Couch has been promoted from senior client services executive to client services manager.

Couch, who joined the business three years ago, has extensive experience in print estimating, customer guidance and support, and staff training. In her new role she will support the client services and sales divisions, ensuring client retention by achieving the best level of customer satisfaction.

Potts Print (UK) managing director Shaun Johnson said: “I am delighted to announce the promotions of three valued team members. They have worked hard from day one.

Potts is set to take delivery of the UK’s first Manroland Roland 700 Evolution press later this year. It has also just become the first Carbon Balanced Printer in the North East of England.

The business employs 125 staff and has a turnover of £12m. It works across two sites totalling 9,000sqm space and produces commercial work, packaging, direct mail and wide-format print. It also offers warehousing and distribution, pick and pack, and stockholding services to its customers.
