Spandex simplifies ordering and admin with integrated catalogue and MIS

Spandex has launched a product catalogue called Essentials, to simplify selecting and ordering for the most commonly ordered consumables, and integrated them with its Worksmart MIS to streamline admin and order processing.

Essentials includes a mix of products from its three product ranges; signage, digital print products and display systems from 3M, Avery, Mactac and its own ImagePerfect ranges.

"For 80% of day-to-day requirements Essentials provides a snapshot of all are best-selling products with simplified pricing and navigation to make it easier to use," said Spandex marketing manager Gabriela Parish.

The Worksmart MIS is based on signage and display MIS specialist Clarity’s system. Worksmart includes Spandex’ price lists to simplify pricing and quoting.

"Directly within Worksmart customers can control stock and reorder the products in the essentials guide," said Parish. "That integration between our product catalogue and the MIS is exclusive."

Standard Clarity features including CRM, quoting, invoicing, reporting and works orders modules are also included. A basic system costs £490. A version with two additional modules, digital print roll feed quoting calculation and purchase order processing, costs £690.

For customers requiring more detailed product information the three "big book" catalogues for signage, digital and display systems remain, or they can seek recommendations using the Spandex customer team.
