Signs Express’ Lancaster franchise has come under new ownership after its general manager bought the business.

Lee Reynolds has worked at Signs Express (Lancaster) for eight years and has a total of 35 years’ experience in the signmaking industry. As of 2 March, he took on the top job at the operation in Caton Road, by the River Lune.

Taking over from previous owner Thomas Somers, Reynolds said he expects to bring in a raft of new projects over the coming months. Somers will stay on for the first few weeks to oversee a smooth transition.

Reynolds said: “I want to continue to deliver the exceptional service and products our customers have come to expect from the Signs Express (Lancaster) team.

“I am confident that my experience and knowledge will continue to push the business to new heights.”

Signs Express (Lancaster) is one of more than 65 Signs Express centres across the UK and Ireland.

It has eight members of staff and is fully equipped with digital printing and signmaking equipment for applications including interiors, exteriors, vehicle graphics, banners and exhibition displays.
