Ricoh scores a perfect ten in first three days

Ricoh India, the Japanese digital equipment player which entered the Indian market a year ago, continues to fortify its position as a fast-growing digital print company.

Ricoh had at the end of the first day at Ipex, garnered six orders for its newly launched Ricoh Pro C751 press, and according to the company the total orders swelled to ten by the end of the third day, which also included the Pro C901 presses and a wide-format printer. Ricoh’s stall at Ipex had solid footprints with more than 600 visitor footfalls.

"We are very pleased with the growing acceptance of our technology by leading companies that are providing superior print solutions. We are happy to be part of the printers’ productivity enhancements to their customers through our devices," said Avijit Mukherjee, business head, production printing business group at Ricoh India.

The Pro C751 incorporates some of the best features from the company’s higher model the Pro C901, which according to Mukherjee, gives the press more flexibility.

"The sale has exceeded our expectations in every way," said Mukherjee. "I would like to commend our team for a job well done given the circumstances and pressure in a competitive print industry."
