Printex 2011 exhibition in Mumbai from 15-18 December, 2011

Printex 2011, an exhibition on graphic arts industry, organised by Maharashtra Mudran Parishad (MMP) will be held from 15-18 December at Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

"Printex 2011 will play host to a projected 10,000 industry professionals from all over India, especially from the interiors of Maharashtra. It will be the biggest, most comprehensive graphic communications expo of its type in Western India," said Anand Limaye of MMP, which has more than 50 affiliate associations from Maharashtra.

The four-day print exhibition will showcase technology from leading exhibitors like Welbound Worldwide, TechNova India, HP India, Megabond, Grafica Flexotronica, Akruti, Coreldraw, etc.

"India has consolidated its position as the world’s fourth largest economy in Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) according to the latest World Development Indicators and has the third largest GDP in the entire continent of Asia. Our industry has made giant strides in recent times in improving its machinery in terms of the scope, technology and speed. Printex 2011 will showcase this extension of the growth," exclaimed Limaye.

"The primary reason for hosting this exhibition was to support MMP's Institute of Printing Technology and Research at Panvel. Moreover, Mumbai Mudrak Sangh is hosting MMP's 56th Annual Conference, AGM and Print Awards Distribution function on 17 December, coinciding with the event," concluded Limaye.

Uday Dhote, chairman of the Awards further informed that Dilip Dandekar, CMD Camlin and Ranjan Kuthari, president of AIFMP would be the chief guests for MMP's annual conference.

The awards evening will witness Vinay Apte, a leading Marathi actor and Pranav Parikh of TechNova as the guests of honour. Since the last year, the awards have been presented by Adobe and nearly 300 entries have been received from leading printers of Maharastra. The winning entries will displayed in the exhibition hall.
