DI buy cuts turnaround at Kall Kwik Horsham

Kall Kwik Horsham has reported a significant reduction in turnaround time following the installation of a Ryobi 3404X DI press, which it claimed has made it one of the best performing Kall Kwik centres in the country.

The franchise has slashed its target turnaround times following the investment, which has made it much more competitive in the marketplace, according to joint managing director Zoe Glavin. She said: "It allows us to turnaround work really quickly - we're aiming to deliver within 48 hours of receiving PDF artwork now."

Partner George Glavin added: "We bought this press to gear up into the four-colour market because we only had a two-colour offset press before. We handle run lengths from 500 through to 5,000, but our most regular requirement is for runs between 1,000 and 2,000, which is ideal for the DI style of press."

The Ryobi, which was installed in May by UK distributor Apex Digital Graphics, has had an immediate impact at the centre, enabling it to produce political brochures in time for the recent elections.
