Communisis strengthens board

Communisis has appointed an additional non-executive director who bring extensive experience in financial services and retail to the PLC.

At its AGM today (10 May) the group announced that Helen Sachdev had joined as a non-exec as part of its growth strategy.

She is currently chief operating officer at estate agent Marsh & Parsons, and prior to that held senior roles at Barclays, Tesco and Sainsbury’s. Sachdev is also a non-executive director at Loughborough Building Society.

At the AGM, Communisis chairman David Gilbertson said that trading expectations for 2018 were unchanged, and the £376m turnover group was making progress with the three-year Value Enhancement Programme growth plan that was launched alongside its year-end results.

The current board comprises Gilbertson, CEO Andy Blundell, CFO Steve Rawlins, and non-executive directors Peter Harris, Helen Keays and Jane Griffiths.
