The large-format specialist, which was set up in 2000 by managing director Sebastian Stanley, ceased trading last Monday (8 July).

Enquiries regarding the status of the company are being directed to insolvency practitioner Durkan Cahill. A spokesperson said it had been assisting the company but had not yet been appointed as liquidator.

On a note posted on its Facebook and LinkedIn accounts, the company said: “With great sadness, Bigger Printing has now ceased trading. We'd like to thank all of our clients who have made this journey wonderful.”

Based in Cheltenham, the business was originally set up to sell print consumables, before diversifying into large-format print including posters, banners, vinyl, hoarding panels and exhibition systems.

As of December 2018 the business employed nine staff and served a range of markets and sectors including transport, retail, parks and entertainment.

With a work split of 80% direct and 20% indirect/trade, its clients included Holland Cooper, Aston Martin, SoHo Coffee Co and SCI-MX Nutrition.

The company operated Canon flatbed printers and became one of the first in the UK to order and receive the Océ Colorado 1640 UVgel printer.

PrintWeek was unable to reach anybody from The Bigger Printing Co for comment at the time of writing, with the company’s phone line ringing out.
