Print Plus UK started life some 30 years ago in a small warehouse in the picturesque Little Germany district of Bradford, printing single-colour takeaway menus and the like. Since then the business has expanded its offering considerably, and has further expansion in its sights.

Where are you based? 
We have a 1,115sqm unit in Bradford and we are now looking to move into a purpose-built unit double that to suit our packaging ambitions

What does your firm do?
Our scope of work is divided into three departments: commercial printing work, greetings cards and packaging

We serve clients all over the UK

Which markets do you serve?
We serve the hospitality, leisure, retail and charity markets

What’s your USP?
We control almost all aspects of production in-house, from design, foiling, die-cutting, folding-gluing, laminating to packing. This gives us great control over the print work we produce. We also excel at being able to identify and adapt our offering to meet our customers’ needs and requirements

What’s your company’s motto or mission statement?
To provide our customers with greater emphasis on adding value to their products, whether through innovation, aesthetics or service, in order for them to extend their offering to their clients

What equipment do you run?
We run a Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 and a Ricoh C7210SX for our print work. And a range of finishing equipment, with the latest ones being a B1 die-cutter, foiler and stripper and a Bobst folder-gluer

What’s been your proudest achievement in the past few years?
Significantly increasing our customer base and return on sales, diversifying our product offering and being able to invest in several exciting new areas of production, securing the future for our business and employees

Where do you see your business in five years’ time?
We see ourselves continuing to expand into more exciting markets, and internal processes
