60-seconds with Carillion Print

Carillion Print has been providing Bristol and beyond with high-quality screen printed and embroidered garments for over 22 years. The firm’s ethos is built around providing a top-quality service and delivering a top-quality product.

Where are you based? Our workshop is just off Cotham Hill in Bristol, which is a great community of thriving independent businesses.

How many staff do you have? As a small print studio, we have about six people in our team. Some of whom have been in the business for more than 25 years as well as some who are recent graduates. But we are ever-expanding and have just taken on an extra screen printer.

What does your firm do? We create high-quality screen printed garments, art prints, transportation cases, banners and more. No project is too big or too small.

Which areas do you serve? The growth of the internet means we now supply companies nationwide.

Who are your clients? We have a very broad customer base from high-profile brands including Kenzo and Yankee Candle, to leading artists such as Inkie and Cheo. A lot of our clients include up-and-coming independent clothing labels.

What’s your USP? We can work with our clients on a personal basis and guide them through the design process from conception to completion.

What equipment do you run? We use both manual and automatic screen print machines and can produce runs of just one or thousands. We can also print using our trusty heat press as well as printing stickers and high-quality art prints.

Where do you see your business in five years’ time? Looking ahead, we’re looking to bring in more exciting machinery to have more capacity to fulfil orders.

What’s your team’s favourite biscuit? Custard creams.
