Link Mailing in liquidation

Coventry-based Link Mailing has been placed in voluntary liquidation following a meeting with company members and appointed liquidators.

PrintWeek reported on 1 May that insolvency practitioners Eric Walls and Wayne Harrison of KSA Group’s Gateshead office had been nominated, being officially appointed as joint liquidators of Link Mailing on 9 May at a general meeting held at KSA’s London head office.

During the meeting, which was attended by members of Link Mailing including managing director and chair Deborah Donaldson, a resolution to wind-up the company was passed.

In a notice posted on The Gazette this morning, 14 May, creditors are advised to send their full details, including particulars of their debts or claims and details of their solicitors, to E Walls and W Harrison of KSA Group Limited, C12 Marquis Court, Marquisway, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0RU on or before 31 July.

Services at Link Mailing, which last year celebrated its 20th anniversary, included commercial print, digital and litho, direct mail, polywrapping and enclosing, and wide-format print.

In 2012 the business more than doubled its headcount to 10, after it acquired local print business Print5 and its six staff, when the firm's owner retired.

According to its most recent accounts, the firm employed seven staff.

Link Mailing's Deborah Donaldson and KSA were unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
