Bezier increases design reach with Hicksville acquisition

Bezier has broadened its creative and design reach following the acquisition of design studio Hicksville, signalling the formation of a new entertainment division at the Wakefield-based display printer.

The new division will be headed up by Hicksville founder Rennie Mitchell, and brings a client base that includes Sony Pictures, Paramount, Disney, Universal and Warner Music.

According to Trevor O’Reilly, chief executive at Bezier, the company's existing entertainment clients will have direct access to the Hicksville’s "unparalleled creative approach".

"We are delighted that Hicksville are joining us and confident that the acquisition will allow us to deliver great service to our clients," he added.

Hicksville has previously scooped two British Video Association Awards in 2010 and carried out animation work for films such as Terminator Salvation.

Mitchell said: "With the experience and expertise of the mighty Bezier behind us, Hicksville can focus entirely on its core strengths.

"With an unrelenting dedication to creativity and fantastic client rapport, I can’t wait to witness the impact of this merger on future entertainment campaigns."
