Flint Group’s silicone emulsion Varn Pro-Web Titanium was launched around 12 months ago and we have been running it on our Manroland Lithoman 48pp and Rotoman 16pp presses since late last year. At Garnett Dickinson, we have been really impressed with what we have seen. It runs extremely well on high-speed, high-pagination web presses. During the time we have been using it, the solution has consistently performed and we haven’t had any issues with marking in the folder. It moisturises the web, prevents build-up on path rollers, turner bars and folder tapes and improves finishing processes such
as folding, cutting and stacking. It gives us excellent results over the wide range of stocks we use.
